Zeolite Molecular Sieves

Modified 13X Molecular Sieve

Sodium X-type (13X) molecular sieve with large pore structure and strong adsorption capacity, available with different modification systems for specific applications.

Overview

13X is a sodium X-type zeolite whose ~10Å pore structure adsorbs larger molecules than A-type sieves, giving it strong capacity for drying and for adsorbing CO₂, H₂S and other species. Modification systems are selected per application.

Key Features

  • Larger pore structure than A-type sieves
  • Strong adsorption capacity
  • Multiple modification systems available

Typical Applications

  • Medical gas drying
  • Compressed air drying
  • CO₂ adsorption
  • H₂O / H₂S adsorption
  • Catalyst support applications

Customization

Different modification systems are applied according to the application; regeneration temperature and cycles are confirmed per project.

Data to Provide for a Quotation

To receive a material recommendation and quotation, please share your operating conditions:

  • Gas flow rate (Nm³/h) and inlet / target outlet concentration
  • Gas composition and main pollutant components
  • Operating temperature and humidity
  • SO₂ and dust concentration (where applicable)
  • Existing reactor dimensions and current catalyst / adsorbent type
  • Required service life and any special requirements

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 13X and 5A?

13X has a larger pore structure (~10Å vs ~5Å), so it can adsorb larger molecules and generally offers higher capacity for CO₂ and water, while 5A gives sharper size selectivity.
