Overview
Produced from selected fruit shells by carbonization, crushing, screening, high-temperature steam activation and refining, this irregular granular carbon combines good strength, high surface area and fast liquid-phase adsorption kinetics. Documented uses include decolorization for sugar, wine, MSG, amino-acid, beverage and drinking-water processing, food and pharmaceutical decolorization, and catalyst support.

Is fruit-shell carbon the same as coconut-shell carbon?
